coffee and health

Recent research has indicated that drinking more than four cups of coffee a day if you're aged under 55 could increase your risk of dying by half.
The team, based at the University of South Carolina, found that this increased risk wasn't present in people under 55. However, it has been pointed out that the study didn't filter out other harmful behaviours such as smoking, drinking alcohol and other lifestyle factors, so it might be premature to ditch the cafetière just yet.
Coffee actually has many effects on our body's functions - here are just a few.
